I can’t think of another car where the wagon looks SO much better than the sedan (hatchback in this case).

Yep, replacing the bloody lot of them in April! I think I’m set on the Potenza S001, but if any Michelins come on offer then I’ll get them instead

Maybe check out the Continental SportContact 5 or 6. They seem to score better than the S001 in most reviews I looked at but don’t cost half a leg like the Michelins. I’m very happy with the Continentals I’ve had on my car and my brother doesn’t have any complaints about his SportContact 2 on his 2011 Octavia RS TDI.

I’ll check them out. My tyre place can order pretty much anything, but I get my base prices from blackcircles and the don't have many Contis.
